Each summer we gather Downtown in the Old City.  We head out back, behind Remedy Coffee to the railroad tracks.  We come together for a one of a kind celebration we call Baptism.  We celebrate the life change, renewal and restoration that Jesus has brought to our community.  

One by one, participants step into a small "kids"pool and proclaim their allegiance to Jesus Christ.  One by one they share their story of how God has entered into their mess and made them into a new person.  A new creation.  

We celebrate.  We laugh.  We cheer.  We clap.  We cry. 

It is a day like no other.  It is a day where we get to observe just how amazing God is at changing hearts.  

Then we eat BBQ and lots of it.  Come on now, this is the South!
