What To Expect

Simple. Real. Authentic. Honest. Raw.

Our Sunday Morning Gatherings are when we come together as a community to celebrate and worship Jesus, share our stories and explore God's truth in the bible. We usually have a time of worship through prayer and singing followed by a time of teaching.  Sometimes we have a time of sharing, where anyone can share their stories, ideas and questions.

Expect to feel at home. No pressure, no anxiety, no intimidation and no guilt. The entire Sunday Gathering lasts about an hour and one thing is for sure, you won't feel unwelcome. We have strong coffee and usually some sort of homemade bread or muffins and lots of fresh, seasonal fruit.

We don't put on a fancy production, there are no smoke machines, no disco balls, no fluff. Just simplicity and honesty. We, like you, are trying to play with the cards we've been dealt.  We do our very best to keep it honest, simple and real.

We believe that our Sunday gathering should not be the focus of our efforts or the banner we hold up to explain what were about. Our Sunday gathering is a time of worship and celebration but in the scope of things, it should be among the least of what we do as a church, not the pinnacle of our weekly spiritual experience.

Common Questions

Do you offer child care?
We sure do. For children 0 - 5 years old, we offer a fully staffed nursery with tons of toys and activities along with crafts and bible stories geared just for the little ones.

Children 5-10 have their own campus filled with lots of fun things to discover.  There is a huge tree fort with slide, a 24 foot chalkboard, video games and an art studio filled with paint, brushes and crafts.  Each week the Knoxlife kids are introduced and taught the wonderful story of Jesus.

Do I need to dress up?
Come as you are, and dress however you want; from shirt and tie to sandals and shorts, everyone is welcome here. Whether you are single, married, a parent, teen or child, we strive to make church real, relevant and simple each week.
